Cable & Patch Cord Anchor

The Miniflex Cable and Patch Cord Anchor (CPA) enables cables with aramid strands or similar strength reinforcement to be mechanically terminated and then protected with Miniflex OFPT. It provides an easy-to-use assembly with no crimping, whilst still retaining a minimum 100 Newton pulling load.

Used with the Miniflex Optical Fibre Protection Tube (OFPT) the range of CPA parts covers cables and patch cords from 1.0mm to 10.8mm diameter. Additionally up to 4 typical patch cords can be terminated in one anchor.

The CPA can also be used to link 5mm OFPT tube-to-tube across the 3 to 10mm
OFPT and DVC™ Microduct ranges.

Applications
CPAs are commonly used in the data communications market to secure the OFPT and fibre bundles in place and where a fibre-protected breakout is required, from cable or patch cord and OFPT input to OFPT output, for example:

• Fibre To The Home or Multi Dwelling Unit (FTTH/MDU)
• Telecoms and Datacoms
• Medical
• Military
