Splice Trays
Miniflex Splice Trays offer modular, flexible and adaptable solutions for manyconfigurations, providing the complete solution to fibre circuit management. The
Miniflex Splice Holder can manage 0.3mm to 3.5mm diameter components or
jacketed fibre using either a basic or managed tray option. Multiple Splice Trays can be stacked together to create an array, where needed.
There are two Splice Tray variants, Basic and Managed. The Managed Splice Tray additionally allows for the storage of up to 30 metres of primary coated dark fibre for future splicing.
The Basic Splice Tray can be used as a splitter module with 2 fibres coming in with up to 32 fibres going out.
Both trays can store up to 48 metres of spliced primary 250 micron fibre. With both variants it is possible to feed fibre through the back hinge side to trays above or below the starting tray for optimum flexibility in configuring complex fibre circuits.
Applications
Miniflex Splice Trays are generally used in the Fibre-to-the
Premises (FTTP) scenarios where storage of extra fibre is
needed to provide easy access for splicing. They can also be
used in Telecoms (Central Office); Cable TV and LAN and
external plant applications.Features & Benefits
