Miniflex TuffNut™ Cables are ideal for applications requiring performance,
durability and protection. The crush resisting, bend-limiting features are an inherent characteristic of Miniflex sheathing technology, protecting the fibre from micro or macro-bending and damage resulting from the rigours of daily use.
The Miniflex manufacturing technology enables the use of hard plastic materials
that exhibit high tensile and high compressive strengths that are unique in the field of cable design. This approach is particularly beneficial for the provision of bend insensitive fibre cables that utilise standard single or multi-mode fibres. It also provides a light weight, cost effective cable that does not demand the use of additional high strength filaments.
